FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to the questions we hear most about booking a Hawaii zipline tour through Aloha Ziplines. Have a question about a specific tour's cancellation policy, pricing, or requirements? Check that tour's own page first — each operator sets its own terms.

How does booking work on Aloha Ziplines?

Aloha Ziplines is a referral site, not a tour operator. When you click Book Now on a tour page, you're taken to that operator's real-time FareHarbor booking calendar to complete your reservation directly with them. You'll receive your confirmation, waiver, and check-in details straight from the operator.

Is Aloha Ziplines the company that runs the zipline tour?

No. Aloha Ziplines partners with independently operated zipline, hiking, ATV, and tubing tour companies across Maui, Kauaʻi, and the Big Island, and helps travelers find and book their tours. Each tour is owned, staffed, and run by its own operator.

What's the cancellation and refund policy?

Cancellation and refund terms are set by each tour operator individually, so they're listed on that specific tour's page rather than here. You'll also see the applicable policy at checkout and in your confirmation email before you book.

What should I wear or bring on a zipline tour?

Closed-toe athletic shoes are required on almost every course — sandals and flip-flops usually aren't allowed. Wear comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing you don't mind getting a little dusty, and bring sunscreen, a hat or sunglasses, and a reusable water bottle. Leave loose jewelry and anything you can't secure at home.

Are there weight or age limits for zipline tours?

Yes — weight and age requirements are set by each operator and vary by course, so check the specific tour's page and its FareHarbor listing for exact limits before booking. If you're unsure whether you or someone in your group qualifies, contact us and we'll help you find a tour that fits.

What happens if it rains or the weather is bad?

Most Hawaii zipline tours run rain or shine, since brief tropical showers are common and courses are built for it. In rare cases of unsafe conditions (high winds, lightning, flooding), the operator may delay, reschedule, or cancel your tour — they'll reach out directly using the contact info from your booking.

Do I need a reservation, or can I just show up?

A reservation is strongly recommended. Tours run on limited daily capacity and commonly sell out, especially in peak season and around holidays, so booking your time slot in advance is the best way to guarantee your spot.

Can I book for a large group?

Most tours welcome groups and let you select your party size right in the booking calendar. For larger groups, family reunions, or private bookings, reach out through our Contact page and we'll help connect you with the right operator.

Who do I contact about an existing booking?

Since your reservation is held directly by the tour operator, changes, cancellations, and day-of questions are handled fastest by contacting them using the details in your confirmation email. For general questions about Aloha Ziplines or help choosing a tour, use our Contact page.

Do you list tours on Oʻahu?

Not currently. Aloha Ziplines features tours on Maui, Kauaʻi, and the Big Island. If that changes, new islands will show up alongside these on our Tours page.
