Check in at The Outfitters Kauai Kayak Shack at Nawiliwili Small Boat Harbor. Paddle roughly two miles down the Huleʻia River, two people per kayak, taking in the natural beauty and peaceful valleys of this scenic waterway.
Pull kayaks ashore and hike a short, moderate trail into a hidden valley. Arrive at Pirate Pool and swing Tarzan-style on the rope swing, then take time to swim in the freshwater pool surrounded by lush jungle.

Check-in Location: Check in at The Outfitters Kauai Kayak Shack at Nawiliwili Small Boat Harbor, conveniently located just minutes from Līhuʻe Airport and Nawiliwili Harbor. The tour runs from 8:45am to 3:15pm and includes several short walks between activities totaling about a mile of easy hiking, so dress for movement.
Age Requirement: The Kīpū Zipline Safari welcomes guests ages 5 and up. Ziplining itself requires guests to be at least 7 years old. All minors (ages 5–17) must be accompanied by an adult for the full day.
Weight Requirements: Ziplining requires a minimum weight of 60 pounds. Kayaking has a weight limit of 275 pounds per person, which applies to all participants regardless of whether they zipline.
Health Considerations: Guests who are pregnant or have back, neck, or muscular concerns should carefully consider whether ziplining is right for them; they're welcome to join the rest of the tour and sit out the zipline portion. All participants should be comfortable with about a mile of easy hiking spread across the day, including some uneven, sometimes muddy terrain.
Safety & Policies: This is an alcohol-, drug-, and smoke-free tour. Impaired participation is not allowed for safety reasons. The tour operates rain or shine. Cancellation due to weather is at the sole discretion of the operator, and the locations and sequence of activities may change due to weather or trail conditions.
Cancellation Policy: 24-hour notice is required to cancel, or 72 hours for groups of six or more passengers; a 100% penalty charge is strictly enforced.
